Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager with expertise in the U.S. tuberculosis (TB) market to drive sales growth and expand market presence. The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience in pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, or medical devices related to infectious diseases, particularly tuberculosis. This role requires a deep understanding of TB treatment protocols, diagnostic tools, and key stakeholders in the U.S. healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to promote TB-related products (e.g., diagnostics, therapeutics, vaccines) in the U.S. market.
- Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, public health organizations, government agencies (CDC, NIH, etc.), and hospital procurement teams.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and managing key accounts.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and policy changes affecting the TB market in the U.S.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure effective positioning of TB-related products.
- Provide training and product knowledge to internal teams and external partners.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for senior management.
Requirements:
- Sales Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, medical devices, or healthcare solutions.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the TB market in the U.S., including diagnostics, treatment guidelines, and key industry players.
- Network: Established connections with healthcare professionals, public health organizations, and government agencies related to TB control.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Life Sciences, Public Health, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Travel: Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with TB diagnostics (e.g., IGRA tests, molecular tests) or TB therapeutics.
- Knowledge of government funding programs and initiatives related to tuberculosis control.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the healthcare industry.
